Classic style at the Carolina Lowcountry’s Palmetto Bluff

Classic style at the Carolina Lowcountry’s Palmetto Bluff

As I mentioned in my last email about the Eseeola Lodge, we spent quite a bit of time this summer in the Carolinas.  In addition to staying at Eseeola, we also had a relaxing week-long stay at the Inn at Palmetto Bluff, a Montage hotel and Virtuoso property.

This property provides a beautiful, lowcountry setting with Southern classics including Spanish moss, towering oaks and primeval woods.  And yes, some gators!  It is a wonderful property for families to unplug and relax. There’s golf, tennis, multiple pools, skeet shooting and a fantastic equestrian facility.  The sophisticated facility also includes a village market, post office and the historical ruins of R.T. Wilson’s Palmetto Lodge.

The guest rooms and cottages are lovely and many have beautiful screened porches for some outdoor time on those lazy, hot, summer days in the Carolinas. As of September 1st, there is now a brand new inn added to the property with an additional 150 guest rooms, new spa and pool, more meeting and wedding facility spaces and another restaurant and bar. The new spaces are spectacular and there are some additional promotions available for what they’re calling their “Grand Debut” of these new spaces!

If you’re looking for a getaway that lets you and your family unplug and want to find out if Palmetto Bluff is the place for your trip, I’d love to chat with you!
