Ritz-Carlton Sarasota: A beautiful and serene getaway

Ritz-Carlton Sarasota: A beautiful and serene getaway

I recently stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Florida with my daughter for a “Travel Week” type event hosted by Brownell Travel. As with other Ritz properties, this one is upscale and resort-like.  Sarasota is particularly beautiful with fantastic sunsets, gorgeous white sand beaches and world-class shopping.

sarasota-balconyThough this trip was jam-packed with presentations from excellent travel vendors, I did get a few minutes to enjoy our balcony and the view from it. Though the hotel is located on a harbor inlet and not the beach proper, there is a beach club that they own that’s a short shuttle ride away.

The room not only had a balcony, but was beautifully appointed with a relaxing, zen-like bathroom and modern, serene decor.  There are several restaurant options including a more casual cafe that were terrific as well.

I was also really impressed with the meeting spaces and the catering at those events. Not every resort-like hotel has the capacity to do both well- but the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota had impeccable service for both types of visitors.

If you’re interested in a Florida Gulf Coast vacation, I’d highly recommend considering the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota. Let me know if I can help you with the booking of this lovely Virtuoso property!
