What a trip! Intergenerational travel to London
Grandparent travel is on the upswing and I was thrilled to help a long-time family friend with a trip to London for her father and her nephew.
They had a list of must-see items on their wishlist including both historically significant places and an Arsenal game! I worked with them to get the itinerary of their dreams that allowed for both the excitement and the downtime that are important when you’re making a big trip together. I also took advantage of travel vendors and guides who can help clients get more meaning out of visits with less time spent waiting in lines.
Their private visit to the Churchill War Rooms was led by one of these expert guides and the experience was “spectacular.”
With a bit of encouragement from my friend, we convinced them to use a driver to allow more time visiting sites and enjoying them and less time getting from place to place or waiting in lines. It’s so much more fun when you don’t wear yourself out on just the logistics side of a travel adventure!
They also stayed at my favorite chic but cozy hotel, The Haymarket. “The staff at the Haymarket hotel could not have been better and they all knew from the moment we arrived that D was an Arsenal fan and they played to it perfectly. ”
I’m so happy that I have access to the best in the business for booking bucket list tours and events for my clients around the world. If you or your parents are ready for some intergenerational trips of your own, let me know as I’d love to see if I can help you make amazing memories too!
